I am a ceramicist creating functional pottery out of my home studio in Lexington, Kentucky.

My prayer for pottery is that the Lord would bless the work of my hands, enabling the raw materials of His world to be reshaped in such a way that brings our focus back to Him — the true Creator, Sustainer, & Potter. The One who has formed you from dust, crafted you for unique purposes, & marked you with His beauty. You bear His signature.

When you see each piece of pottery, may you be reminded of the invitation to surrender to the Potter like clay on the wheel. The clay that gains its purpose & value not by doing the work, rather through full submission to the hands of the Potter.
